The brand’s original website was built on a Magento platform that wasn’t designed to support the growth they were experiencing as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic and the nation being locked at home every Friday and Saturday night. They needed to move Shopify Plus because it scales well and also offers a high level of customisation that can support changing business goals. Because not everyone in the team had strong digital experience, the site also needed to be easy to manage.
We completed the migration from Magento to Shopify Plus in just 12 weeks and then focused on refining the UI and UX to improve both B2C and B2B subscriptions. Part of that experience was developing a content-driven loyalty hub for their trade customers. Within our strong partner network, we found the best tech integrations that would see Funkin smash its targets, including Age Verifier, Trustpilot, and Klaviyo. In just a few months, the Average Order Value increased by 56% and Conversion by 27%.
